The Kitchen Table

A few weeks ago, I found a guy on craigslist who builds custom farm tables for an incredible price! He is in Nashville, TN. After emailing him, and talking it over with John, we decided to go ahead and get a table with a matching bench! I could not be more happy with it! This is just want I wanted in our kitchen nook. Emily drove with me to Nashville to get the table a few weekends ago----the trip was not without its adventures :) Here it is in the kitchen!!

The bench is on the window side of the table. I decided to accent with black chairs...found these at Dirt Cheap! They are on Target's website for $180 and I got them for $40! Praise the Lord!! Still on the hunt for two more...

This old milk carrier I got from a lady's home at church. These bottles were old Starbucks Frappachino bottles. I painted the inside of them white!

The bench!

I really love this table! The guy whom we bought it from said "enjoy making history around that table"! We will!!

Hello, beautiful table! I've been looking for someone in the Nashville area to make a custom farm table for me and my husband, and a Google search led me to your blog post. I'd love to have a table very similar to yours! Do you happen to have contact information for the guy who made it? Thanks!
