My $3.00 Steal!!!

We have been searching for a filing cabinet for some time now---and to buy a wood filing cabinet, what we have found is that they will cost anywhere from $150-$250. Well, I have been praying that the Lord would provide one....and today I happened on in to my favorite thrift store and saw this guy sitting there...

So....I asked the owner what the price was, and he said $3.00!! I couldn't believe it!! So, after a little paint and some distressing....our new filing cabinet!

It matches our desk and chair perfectly! I still need to add the hardware...I'm going to get some spray paint, and then re-attach them. We are so thankful for this!!

The Desk

One of the first projects we worked on was refinishing an awesome desk we had gotten. We painted it black, then distressed it. So So excited about how it turned out!
