NYC

We traveled to New York City over Memorial Day Weekend.  It is something we have always wanted to do and we had a great time!!

On the Plane.

View of the city from our taxi ride.

Our room! Tiny!

Times Square.

Lincoln Center

The Met

Julliard

We went to a famous bakery called Levain's. Best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had!

Bryant Park

We had dinner at Serendipity!

Their famous Frozen Hot Chocolate. It was delicious!

We were walking around NYC listening to Liberty Baseball!

That night we got to see Wicked! It was amazing!

On Sunday morning we went to the Brooklyn Tabernacle. What a blessing! It was my favorite part of the whole trip!

We went to a famous pizza place under the Brooklyn Bridge for lunch called Grimaldi's. Yum!

Then we walked the Brooklyn Bridge.

Sunday night we went to the Braves vs. Mets game. Sad because they lost!

We got tickets on the club level and got to eat all we wanted! Ha!

On Monday, we visited the High Line- a park made on the old railroad tracks that would send meat through NYC back in the olden days.  It was really neat!

Some chairs were on the old tracks.

We ate at Shake Shack for lunch- oh my- the best hamburger I've ever had!

We had such a great time! So thankful we got to go!!

Hey Mel! It looks like so much fun! Nick and I are planning to go in September, what hotel did you stay in? I'm having a hard time finding one that isn't too expensive or too sketchy! Haha. Thanks!
